Jolene Welter, DDS

Dr. Jolene Welter has practiced with Parkway Dental since 2010. She is a continuous member of the American Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Association, as well as a member of the Charlie McCanns Downtown Study Club.

She is a 1999 graduate of St. Olaf College (“Um! Yah! Yah!!”). She worked for the following six years at a large Group Practice in downtown Minneapolis until her uncle (a longtime patient of Parkway Dental and aware of the current “Patriarchs” of the Parkway family considering retirement), during a regular check-up, happened to ask Dr. Meyer if he may be seeking a new dentist to join their team. As a result, Dr. Welter has since become a pioneer of Parkway Dental’s next generation of leaders, practicing as an Associate until 2017, when she became a Partner.

From her perspective, it feels especially fateful that the path of her career led her to practicing  with Parkway Dental and she feels honored and grateful to have joined Dr. Meyer in this adventure.

She cherishes the experience of getting to know and sharing special bonds with every one of her patients. She has the unique and special privilege of calling many of them friends as well as her patients, treasuring every personal invitation (coffee and muffin dates, plane rides, Thursday night wine and cookies, just to name a few) as well as their kind-hearted interest in the lives of her two daughters.  She considers herself especially blessed to have joined Parkway’s remarkable community.

She resides in Southwest Minneapolis with her husband, Chad,  and her daughters, Addison and Amelia.

Most precious to her are her family, dear friends, and her cat, Macklemore Lodo Bennett, AKA “Mackie.” To relax, she enjoys spending time in Northwestern Wisconsin at her family cabin, as well as the occasional pulltab!
